This five-day, in-person course introduces Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA), a set-theoretic method for analyzing small, intermediate, and large numbers of cases. Participants learn to identify necessary and sufficient conditions and to model causal complexity. The course combines theory with hands-on practice, covering calibration, set relations, truth tables, logical minimization, the Standard Analysis, and the interpretation and presentation of results. Participants replicate a published study in R and can apply QCA to their own projects.
