Christian Rupietta is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the Queen’s University Belfast. Before joining Queen’s University Belfast he was an Assistant Professor for Management at the Jackstaedt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research at the University of Wuppertal. He received his PhD in Management and Economics from the University of Zurich in 2015. From 2010 till 2016 he worked as a research and teaching assistant and later as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Zurich (Chair for Empirical Research in Business, Industrial Relations and HRM and Swiss Leading House for Economics of Education).
His research covers areas such as innovation systems, social innovation, HRM and Economics of Education. In his research projects he uses quantitative and set-theoretic methods (Qualitative Comparative Analysis) and combines them in mixed/multi method research designs.
