I am a Political Scientist specialized in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies and currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy at the University of Leipzig. I received my PhD in Political Science from the Goethe University Frankfurt in 2020. During my studies, I was a visiting researcher at Columbia University in New York and the Kofi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation at the University of Liberia.
I am broadly interested in the transitions from armed conflicts to sustaining peace. My main research interests and expertise are related to institutional approaches to peacebuilding, the use of new technologies and social media in peacekeeping missions or national reconciliation processes including accountability for human rights violations. I use QCA in mixed/multi-method research designs for comparing peacebuilding processes, post-conflict justice measures or power-sharing provisions.
